WHAT TYPES OF TATTOOS CAN BE REMOVED?

Most tattoos can be treated successfully. Whether you want to erase a tattoo completely or modify an existing tattoo, we are confident that we can help you attain the results you want. Also, permanent cosmetics can be removed depending on the type of ink that was originally used.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY?

A consultation is necessary to estimate the amount of treatments required to receive the desired results and to determine overall pricing. However, several treatments will most likely be needed. In some cases, up to 10 treatments may be necessary. Each treatment is rather quick, about 15-20 minutes, and treatments are completed about 6-8 weeks apart. Typically, the darker the tattoo, the more treatments needed.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Tattoo removal is safe. As with any laser treatment, heat is directed into the skin at controlled levels, so the skin will appear red and warm to the touch following the treatment. All side effects will diminish hours after the procedure. Although very rare, hyperpigmention of the skin may happen that can either be permanent or treated with a bleaching cream. We have not seen this occurrence with any Renovo MD patient as of yet, but it is important to understand all the potential outcomes.
