HOW DOES IT WORK?

The procedure targets the deep layer of the skin, causing new collagen and connective tissue to grow and support the surface skin, making it smoother. For areas of pigmentation, the light “pulls” out the dark melanin from the skin and is eventually sloughed away. It also helps to treat facial redness and uneven skin tone.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE PROCEDURE?

Generally used on the face, neck, chest and hands, the treatment takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the area, and there is minimal downtime associated with this procedure. It is recommended to have a series of treatments, between 3 and 5, every 3 to 4 weeks. Sunscreen is encouraged before, during and after the treatment is administered.
